Did you switch to reserve or prime? I get 25 miles on reserve. Ran out of gas on I-4 in Daytona. First day on the bike, excited and forgot about the little tank. Rode all the way to Daytona and was riding back when I ran out doing 70 mph. Recovered real good. No one even knew I ran out. Luckily i switched to the right direction, reserve not prime. So I knew I had 25 miles left. Then came the sign--Orlando (where the hotes was) 26 miles! I knew I wouldn't make it. Pulled up to my SO doing 70 and tried to tell him above the Supertrapp I needed gas. He looked at me funny. I took the lead and took the next exit. When I stopped at a gas station he said "You're cold and want your vest?" My vest was in his bags and he has a hearing problem. I said "NO, I'm on reserve, I'm out of gas!" DUH
